Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship worldwide?
I ship worldwide! Please keep in mind that I am located in the United States. International shipping is a bit slower and much more expensive than domestic. There is not much I can do about that! Please budget accordingly.
The buyer is expected to pay for shipping costs, no matter the country. If you have a preferred shipping service you'd like to use, please let me know. I always ship with USPS unless otherwise requested.
Do you accept payment plans?
I am willing to take payment plans on a case by case basis for fursuits only. Full payment is highly preferred.
I usually do not do refunds, so please make sure that you are able to reliably finish paying off your suit!
When paying for a suit, a 30% down-payment immediately goes into paying for materials. This 30% is non refundable.
I do not take payment plans for longer than 3 months.
Do you work with people under 18?
Sorry! I do not work with people under 18 years of age. I am willing to work through a parent if a young furry would like to commission me though. Upon commissioning me for a fursuit, you may be asked to provide a photo ID (you can mark out any parts of the ID that are not your age and your photo) as well as a picture of yourself to confirm your age and identity. This is to protect both the buyer and myself. This information will not be shared with anyone.
Do you accept deadlines?
I do not accept hard deadlines anymore, but if you would like a suit delivered to you by a particular con I will do my best to get it to you by then. I do not want to rush my work and put out a product I am not happy with. So far all suits I've made have been completed within 3-9 months after commissioning, but this is not a guarantee.
How do I take care of my fursuit?
- Brush your fursuit and lightly spray it with fursuit spray after each wear. Remember to always wear under armor and a balaclava underneath your costume to keep as much sweat off of it as possible!
- I recommend washing your suit after any very strenuous wear, such as after a con or after being out in the heat for a long time. Anytime that you are getting very sweaty! The head can be washed much less often than the body, generally. My suit heads are almost all made with waterproof eyes, but please ask me if it is ok to dunk your suit underwater before doing so, so that I can let you know for certain! Heads should only be hand washed. I recommend watching this video for an in-depth guide on how to wash your fursuit: https://youtu.be/JtXLlbHH6Ww
- NEVER dry any part of your fursuit in the drier! Hand wash your head, machine washing is fine for everything else.
- Try not to leave your suit in extremely high heat, such as a parked car in the summer. Hot glue is used on all of my fursuit heads which can begin to melt when exposed to extreme heat. It is also bad for the fur, which is just plastic faux fur fibers.
- It is normal for some small seams to come loose on a fursuit over time. For this reason, it's always smart to keep a small sewing kit on hand at conventions.
Is your business allergy friendly?
I come from a cat and smoking free home. However, I do have a dog whose hair could come in contact with your suit. If you have any serious allergy concerns, please contact me before commissioning. I will try my best to accommodate you, and wash your suit before sending it off.
How do you ensure a well fitting bodysuit?
I build fursuit bodies off of duct tape dummies! This gives me the perfect shape and proportions for your body so that everything will fit just right!
